Technologies and changes happening around you
With nearly three decades of experience in technology consulting, community building, and open-source advocacy, I am passionate about empowering individuals and organizations to thrive in the digital age.
As the Founder of AFROST and a co-founder of PyDelhi.org, I've built and led high-impact tech communities and organized marquee events like PyCon India, directly supporting the growth of India's open-source ecosystem.
My expertise spans Linux, Python, Kubernetes, AI, and DevOps, and I have partnered with leading organizations such as Red Hat, Cadence, and IIIT. I take pride in having mentored and trained over 50,000 professionals, helping them launch successful careers and tech startups.
I believe in the power of collaboration, open knowledge, and inclusive leadership. If you share a passion for technology, open source, or building impactful communities, let’s connect and explore how we can make a difference together.
More than 10 years back with this event i started Blogging on wordpress https://www.naina.co/2009/02/wordcamp-india/ , had the wordpress blog for few years before i moved on to the static web site pages offered from GitHub using Pelican now i am on medium writing this article so what has changed in all these years .
While the Tech you see around you are trying very hard to make it easier for you blog than ever before and hiding all the nuances of HTML , Javascript and Ajax at play be-hide the scene it also is trying very hard to hide all the base of the technologies you do not talk about the Linux Operating system in your day to day conversation you talk about being an Amazon web services expert since all that OS complications are being hidden and offered and repackaged to you in a different form , yes docker included.
The big loss is the the way web is supposed to work the links go dead ,now i see the links to the Wordcamp 2009 are all gone from the eventbrite website , this reminded me of the articles posted on this site https://www.superhighway98.com/ which talks about how the web was back then and how innocent we the webusers were and how its ruined now https://www.superhighway98.com/seo
